Workflow
A 1,5-year communication project. Project team of +20 cross-functional team members and focal points that coordinated a communication activities within their teams on-site. I collaborated with local focal points to monitor on-site activities, collecting stories, interview community activists, capturing capital investments progress and results, volunteering activities, etc. I managed and controlled the writing and editing of the materials collected in the result. Extensive traditional planning was in place based on requirements, scope and concrete timelines for executing communication pieces; measuring the quality of the outcomes against the ones planned and revising if necessary. The specifics of this project were in working with social image and make sure that communication corresponds to company’s brand objectives. All the material that went out had to be thoroughly monitored and controlled. Working with strict deadlines. Working with multiple communication channels, distributed international teams and focal points.
Initiate and manage global communication corporate relations enterprise through various channels; promote and highlight social performance activities, the value driven in indigenous peoples’ communities, social investment programs, resettlements & rehabilitation projects, powering progress, sustainability, and other activities that maintain social image and commitment to integrate social considerations into the company’s business operations. Success of the project showed in promoting the company’s endeavours towards sustainability, powering progress, and helping the reputation and controversy around Shell brand.
